Production Meeting #1 – 02/02/16

Discussed during Production Meeting #1 -

At the beginning of the meeting John Hartill addressed roles and made sure each member understood their general role within the production. It was also noted that a runner/camera assistant had been externally sourced for the production.

John Hartill then discussed a proposed budget, with each crew member agreeing to £50 each; it was also proposed and agreed that Mikey Barker, for having a slightly lesser role during the production, would contribute half of the original agreement. A total budget of £275 was agreed upon by all crew members.

Providing at the end of production, that all payments and receipts are confirmed, if the remaining budget was below a total of £50 that we would donate it to the end of year show.

Each crew member mentioned what equipment they would prefer to work with. Abby Colclough noted the P2 camera as a primary means of capturing the visuals.

Jacob Moorfoot requested to use the Zoom H6 to record the audio.

Chloe Lowe mentioned she will be using Avid for cutting the footage, DaVinci for colour correcting and After Effects for any additional editing.

Drew Brockbank brought up the fact his brother owns a drone, he showed the crew some footage it captured, and he will enquire about the licenses he has/needs in order for the drone to be used within the production.

Mikey Barker agreed to start on the first draft of ‘The Babysitter’.

John Hartill agreed to enquire about what lighting is available without the need for a generator for the other micro shorts. John Hartill also agreed to use the first draft to start looking into potential actors and locations to be agreed upon with Drew Brockbank.

An ‘Equipment Rehearsal’ has been arranged for the 8^th Feb. for all crew to familiarise themselves with kit.
