Creative & Digital Media

With the opportunity to work in the Sky Creative or Sky Post Production teams your passion for TV and all things media should shine through. You could help with the delivery of programmes and promos in the Sky Creative teams or work on fast turnaround highlights and features with our Post Production teams.
Duration: One year
Locations: Osterley, West London
Start date: September 2015
Requirements: Minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C (including English and Maths)
Qualification achieved: Diploma in Creative and Digital Media, Level 3





About the programme
Picture yourself creating on-air promotions for Sky Movies, helping out on a TV campaign for Sky+HD or working on fast turnaround highlights for Sky Sports. Those are just a few of the amazing things you could be getting your teeth into on this programme aimed at creative go-getters with a passion for all things media. You can join us in one of these areas:
Sky Creative- Sky Creative is the in-house creative agency for business areas across the whole of Sky. Working alongside the creative team you’ll help with the delivery of promos running on brief, on budget and on brand. We are looking for people with a creative imagination, bursting with ideas who are simply passionate about TV.
Sky Post Production- You’ll be placed within our talented Post Production team, which is part of the wider Sky Production Services department. You’ll be supporting the team on projects in two exciting areas, Editing and Audio Dubbing. Helping to produce programmes and promos alongside the edit support teams, you’ll be working on fast turnaround highlights and features within Entertainment, Creative and Sports departments. Your passion for Post Production and your ability to rise to a challenge should shine through as you’ll be working in an environment that is constantly evolving with technological developments.

Your skills and talents

You’ll be a good communicator who’s as passionate about TV and production as we are. Your positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team will need to be coupled with an analytical and inquisitive mind. You’ll need to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs A* to C (including English and Maths).
If you’re looking to join our Sky Post Production team, this apprenticeship involves working with a wide range of Sky content, some of which is not suitable for under 18’s. As a responsible employer and broadcaster, for these areas, we are therefore unable to accept applications from people who will not have reached the age of 18 by 1 September 2015.
